Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using ChillFingers ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use ChillFingers on any Mac computers you personally own or control. This is a single-user license.

The 14-day free trial grants you temporary access to all features for evaluation purposes.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or share your license key with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Remove or alter any copyright notices or proprietary labels
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose

4. Ownership

ChillFingers and all associated intellectual property rights remain the property of Andreas Kuhl. This license does not grant you ownership of the Software.

5. Your Responsibility

ChillFingers simulates keyboard input in other applications. You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have authorization to enter data into the target applications
• Verifying the accuracy of your CSV data and workflow configurations
• Complying with the terms of service of any applications you use ChillFingers with
• Any consequences resulting from automated data entry performed by the Software

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

ChillFingers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all applications or macOS versions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Andreas Kuhl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Software.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

8. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle's terms and refund policies apply to all purchases. If you have questions about a charge or need a refund, please contact Paddle's support or reach out to us at info@chillfingers.app.

9. Updates

Your license includes all future updates to ChillFingers at no additional cost. We reserve the right to discontinue development at any time, but your existing license will continue to function.

10. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies of the Software.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers within the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wetzlar, Germany, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the website.
